| Enjoy a sea change in Sydney |
| |
The chance to live in a high quality over 55s development on a stunning stretch of coastline a few kilometres from Sydney's CBD, major shopping centres and the airport, is creating strong demand from people wanting to put more life into their years and experience a sea change lifestyle without leaving Sydney.
Jointly developed by Multiplex Living and the St Luke's organisation, Little Bay Apartments is on the coastal Prince Henry site master-planned by Landcom at Little Bay, Sydney.
A range of luxury one, two and three bedroom residences in the project's first stage, are priced from $495,000. The residences, due for completion early 2008, can initially be secured with a fully refundable holding deposit and then ultimately by entry into a license agreement.
Apartments will feature open plan interiors highlighted by spacious living areas extending to large balconies, most with ocean views across the Coast Golf Course. Contain emergency call buttons in bathrooms, ensuites and bedrooms, the apartments will have state-of-the-art audiovisual intercom access and secure lift access to all floors.
Facilities will include a lounge area, function room and dining room for exclusive use of residents and their guests, along with a hair salon, consulting rooms, extensive landscaped gardens and secure underground parking.
According to Kevin Driscoll, national sales manager for Multiplex Living, Little Bay Apartments the development is unique in Sydney.
“There isn't anything of this calibre for the mature living market in Sydney that can offer the combination of quality design and an amazing coastal location, providing residents with ocean and parkland vistas, while also being within close proximity to key amenities," he said.
"Residents will be part of a vibrant community, with the project ideally suited to buyers who either want to enjoy independent living or those that prefer the assurance of services such as a reception and live-in-manager.
"Leisure activities such as swimming, fishing, walking and golf are also all on the doorstep of residents", he added. "Furthermore, the development is a short drive to shopping centres, Sydney's CBD and the airport."

| Retirement Bondi style |

Interested locals and seniors were keen to get an inside look at Lifestyle Manor Bondi when its doors opened for its first official preview recently.
Designed by architects Campbell Luscombe Folk & Lichtman, Lifestyle Manor in Flood Street Bondi is a mixture of 42 studio, two and three-bedroom - all featuring nurse call buttons and a hearing loop system to amplify sound for residents with hearing aids.
Owned by the Lifestyle Manor Group and managed by Australian Unity Retirement Living Services (NSW), it is a pet-friendly resort with facilities including a private cinema, heated indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, dining and lounge area, library, games room, rooftop function centre, barbecue area, art and craft workshop, medical consulting room, hair and beauty salon, and 24-hour concierge service.
Min Wesek, 72, and husband Julian, 74, were among 500 people who attended the preview, and they were keen to inspect their three-bedroom apartment on the third floor of the resort. Surprisingly, the motivating factors behind their purchasing decision were extra space, the heated swimming pool and gymnasium, and the workshop.
"We currently live in a unit and wanted an extra bedroom," said Julian, as he surveyed the extensive views north and east from his new living room.
"I also wanted an area where I could pursue my hobby of stained glass artwork. I have had to use my balcony and the Body Corporate is not impressed, so it's time to pack up and move - the separate workshop here is ideal," said Julian, who makes intricate candelabras, Tiffany-style lamps, jewellery boxes and sculptures.
The Weseks are also keen on maintaining their fitness and are members of a gym. "Now we'll have the facilities at our fingertips, which will make things more convenient," he said.
Lifestyle Manor Bondi comprises studio apartments from $530,000, two-bedroom from $999,000, and three-bedroom from $1.22 million. For more details, phone 1300 781 745. > Top |
