Until I used Elizabeth Arden’s Pure Finish Mineral Foundation, I’d given up on mineral makeup as it was messy, unpredictable and expensive.
I’d well and truly put it in the just-another-fad drawer, then along came Elizabeth Arden’s product, and now I am hooked.
Elizabeth Arden’s product comes in a tightly sealable container, with built in grinder so you use only as much as you need for the one application; easy. Plus there's no powder explosions when you open the container.
Elizabeth Arden sells brushes separately, but I prefer the fluffy-puff applicator that comes with the product as I find using a brush messy. Mineral makeup needs to be worked into the skin, not just dusted lightly like conventional powders.
It gives great coverage but what makes this product special is friends' comments on how healthy I look and ask what I’ve been using on my skin. Plus you don’t need to use a finishing powder with the EA mineral foundation.
