The results are in. The Duracell Toy Surveyi, conducted amongst 200 boys and girls between the ages of 5 - 10 and parents, has discovered that the No.1 toy that kids wanted this Christmas is the new Furreal Friends Biscuit, My Lovin' Pup. It's the most realistic pet to ever join the Furreal Friends Family.
The amazing 'life-like' pet can obey six different voice commands, and can move his ears, blink his eyes, wag his tail and bark. Rounding out the top three were Bakugan(tm) Battle Brawlers(tm) at No. 2 and Ultra Dinosaur, a walking, blinking and growling dinosaur that comes to life with the touch of a button at No. 3.
The Duracell Toy Survey also revealed that parents surveyed have had to make a mercy dash to the shops to purchase batteries when they have either run out (37%) or forgotten to buy them (33%), adding to their festive season stress. And when these ran out, 75% of kids surveyed were left feeling either sad or disappointed.
With seven of the top ten toys that kids surveyed have chosen as their favourites requiring batteries, parents and grandparents will want to be sure they purchase batteries with their toys this Christmas.
